Jeff Ackerberg- CEO
Jeff joined Focus in 2010 as Chief Executive Officer. He has over 25 years experience in General Management and in Senior Management roles in Sales, Marketing and Product Management within the consumer products industry. Prior to joining Focus, Jeff was President and CEO of Grohe Americas. Other previous employers include ACCO Brands, Kohler, Omni Corporation, Skil-Bosch and Eveready. Jeff has a BA in Marketing from North Central College and an MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern University. Jeff brings to focus solid expertise in product branding, new product development and organic growth strategy.
Jim Murauskis- CFO
Jim Murauskis joined Focus in 2010 as Chief Financial Officer where he has responsibility for the Finance, Legal and Human Resources functions. Jim has over 20 years of experience in financial management. Most recently, Jim was CFO of The RoomPlace (Harlem Furniture) where he led all financial areas for this private equity backed retail business. Prior to The RoomPlace, Jim held various financial roles at companies such as Kraft Foods, Metz Baking Company (division of Specialty Foods), Sears, Roebuck and Co, Laidlaw International and ConAgra Foods. Additionally, Jim earned his CPA while at KPMG Peat Marwick. Jim brings to Focus leadership in the areas of strategic/financial planning and analysis, accounting and cash flow management.
J. Chris Baron- President, Foodservice Division
J. Chris Baron joined Focus Products Group International, LLC in January, 2012 as President of the Foodservice Division. He brings many years of experience as a top-performing sales and operations executive in the foodservice sector plus expertise in international sales and marketing to establish Focus Products Group International as a leader in the category. Most recently, Chris served as Area Vice President at Manitowoc Foodservice, and prior to that position, he enjoyed nearly thirty years of success at ITW/HOBART Corporation, advancing to the position of Vice President and General Manager. Chris is pleased to be a part of the ongoing effort to build Focus Products Group International into an exceptional organization while he helps establish the company’s Foodservice Division as a major player in the industry.
Eric Lockwood- President- Hospitality Division
Eric Lockwood, a principal with Focus, has 15 years of experience in the consumer products industry. Eric has been with Focus since its founding in 2001. As the Chief Operating Officer, Eric was the business leader for Distribution, Human Resources, Information Technology and Customer Service. In addition, he managed the integration of all 16 of Focus' acquisitions. In 2009, Eric became president of the Focus Bath Group, shifting his attention to the Sales, Marketing and Product Development functions of this division. In 2010, he assumed responsibility for the newly established Hospitality division.
Karen Swinford- President, Retail Division
Karen Swinford joined Focus Products Group International, LLC in March 2012 as President of the Retail Division with the responsibility of amplifying the company’s intensely consumer-driven business model and creating a differentiated market position for each brand. Prior to joining Focus Products Group International, Karen was an integral part of the Wilton Brands Inc. team, driving significant organic growth within the company. Karen has also worked with EKCO Housewares as Vice President of Marketing and served various marketing and product management roles for The Rival Company, The Thermos Company and Rawlings Sporting Goods. Karen’s breadth of experience will be a great asset as she establishes the Focus Products Group International Retail Division as a powerful, market-driven growth engine for the company.
Dean Duffy- Executive Vice President, Operations
Dean joined Focus in May of 2009, as vice president of Global Supply Chain, with responsibilities covering all four divisions. Dean has over 15 years of experience with companies such as Cooper Industries, Newell-Rubbermaid, Maurice Sporting Goods, and Tommy Armour Golf. His background includes operations management, engineering, materials management, production planning, distribution, transportation, global procurement & sourcing, quality control, and product development.
William "Bill" Bucklew- Vice President of Innovation
Bill Bucklew joined Focus in December 2011 as Vice President of Innovation to lead all product development functions across the organization, including engineering and industrial design. Prior to Focus, Bill served as Vice President of Engineering for Tegrant Corporation- Protexic Brands, spearheading the product development team. Other previous employers include Acco Brands and GE, where he managed multiple areas of innovation and product development. With his extensive education which includes the completion of the Harvard Business School Leading Product Innovation Executive Program, degree in mechanical engineering and MBA in finance along with the broad experience developed over the course of his career, Bill will be an essential asset in driving the new product development of Focus towards distinction and excellence.
